As a business coach and mentor I am passionate about helping you, as a business owner, to build and grow a profitable business that works for you. I help you to create efficient and productive systems and workflow processes, and to develop your business financial skills, to set and meet profit goals, and to develop a business mindset (or headspace). Ultimately, this means gaining more time, more money, and feeling more in control of your growing businesses and your busy life.
I have over three decades of career and business experience. My background includes small business ownership, banking, corporate accounting and corporate sales, over many different industries. I now work as a Business Coach & Mentor, a Financial Insight Consultant and an Accounting Software Trainer/Consultant.
In early 2015, I sold my thriving bookkeeping & accounting software training company, Jada Accounts & Bookkeeping, to focus on the coaching and training side of the business.
I’ve completed IndeCoach’s Business Coach Training course and I’m an Accredited Facilitator with Team One International’s Cultural Transformation programme.
I grew up in Half Moon Bay in Auckland, before spending a good part of my 20s in Seattle in the United States. where I earned an Associate of Arts degree from Highline College.
For over 20 years now I have lived in and work from and around Northcote, on Auckland’s beautiful North Shore, and I work with clients all over New Zealand and even globally.
It might seem like a bit of an aside, but I also sing and play in a band called Telling Tales. As well as this being one of the things that (I believe) makes me unique and interesting (how many business coaches are also professional musicians), it’s also me practicing what I coach and having a life I love outside of work I love.
The band’s had a bit of success over the last couple of years, including being featured on the Breeze radio station’s website, performed at The Tuning Fork at Vector Arena opening for Citizen Band, and performing on TV3’s 7Days.
We are on a “WORLD TOUR AT YOUR PLACE” playing in the most wonderful and varied locations all over YOUR place….no matter where you live from the tiniest crowd of 2 at your private exclusive dinner table, to 200 at your Birthday Bash, to 2,000 at an outdoor concert.

When you’re running a business, it’s easy to get caught up in your day-to-day cycle, with a regular routine, constant challenges & surprises, and the constant need to keep up with changes in the marketplace.
Is it any surprise then that it becomes increasingly difficult to take time and look up at the big picture? As entrepreneurs and small business owners, we wear so many hats and oversee so many different roles, with many balls in the air. Yes, of course it can be overwhelming.
What headspace means for one business owner can be entirely different for another.
Add to all of that: You are often taking charge of your business’ success on your own—and let’s be honest, it’s impossible to always feel like any of us always know what we’re doing.
Sometimes we feel like we’re making significant business decisions… whilst just hoping for the best, knowing in the back of our minds that we lack valuable skills, knowledge and training.
Of course, it is essential that we take the time to plan, analyse, strategise and set goals toward our vision—utilizing the experience of someone who has been there, done that… and succeeded!
Business Headspace is about making space to think about the strategies that will help your business succeed, while taking time to focus and utilising the strengths (headspace) of others.
Business Headspace is able to help business owners to find their headspace and build and grow a profitable business.
